The Subaru Legacy
ECU executes complicated
electronic calculations andﾊits
configuration could not be easily
changed. Even the Speed limiter's
function was proven to be
difficult to modify.
We immediately analyzed the ECU
that was thought to be too
difficult to tune.
We succeeded in fine tuning the
speed limiter controls, the
ignition/injection timing, and
the expansion of the Rev Limiter.
In consequence, we upgraded the
response at all revolution ranges
that would further enhance the
driving experience compared to a
stock computer.
